Ahmed G. Gad

He received the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from the Faculty of Computers and Information, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, in 2013. Since 2017, he has been an Assistant Lecturer with the Faculty of Computers and Information, Kafrelsheikh University, Kafrelsheikh, Egypt.

He carries out Research and Development (R&D) in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computational Intelligence, Meta-heuristic Optimization, Swarm Intelligence (SI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data, Cloud Computing, Scheduling, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), with special emphasis given to well-established swarm algorithms like Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and others, ranging from theory to design, experimentation, and application. He is also an instructor of practical courses on undergraduate topics in Programming Languages, Network Analysis & Design, Computer Networking, Database Systems, Technical Writing, and Human–Computer Interaction (HCI).

He has been in the software R&D since 2017. He has actively collaborated with researchers in several other disciplines of Engineering and Computer Science, particularly real-world ML and scheduling problems. He has published numerous research articles in several international peer-reviewed journals, including Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Archives of Computational Methods in Engineering, Neural Computing and Applications, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Access, etc. He currently serves as a Reviewer for many prestigious journals hosted by IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer.
